With these attributes, he is destined to be a success in the music industry. Although only 21 years old, his resume, phenomenal voice, and stage presence are mature well beyond his years.
Since the launch of his professional career in February of 2009, Norwood has already performed on TV, Radio, Pre-game Concert for the Atlanta Braves, Opening Act for the legendary B.B. King to a sold out crowd at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre, and was named Macy’s Rising Star of 2009. He was a featured performer along with American Idol finalist, Mandisa and Country Superstar, Josh Turner at the 62nd Lighting of Macy’s Great Tree which was televised on Thanksgiving. In September of 2011, he had the honor of performing at the Pre-Party for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles and ended the year with a bang as a featured performer at the famous Atlanta Peach Drop which is the largest New Year's Eve celebration in the southeast.
2012 is off to a great start: Norwood released 3 new singles on January 1st and will be performing at The Legendary Awards at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in February honoring Ted Turner and Dallas Austin just to name a few.

Record Spinner, Gravity, and Speechless are Norwood's latest hit singles that were released on January 1, 2012. These dynamic, edgy and hard-hitting pop tunes were written and produced by Namaste Studios under the direction of producer Nick Chahwala, who received a Grammy nomination for Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" that was up for Album of the Year in 2011. Chahwala is also responsible for putting down the music work on Mariah Carey's "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" which has sold over 400,000 copies. Namaste Studios resident engineers and producers have been recognized for working on the top albums of today with an impressive client roster that also includes Justin Bieber, Tricky Stewart, Jessica Simpson, Elton John and The Dream just to name a few.
Norwood spent the summer of 2011 in the studio and took his career to a new level with four singles: On Top Of The World, Contagious, For the Record, and Broken. These dynamic pop tunes were written by Atlanta based producer Brad Cox. Working alongside legendary producer Mike Clink (Guns N Roses, Metallica), Cox has worked with writers such as Andreas Carlsson (Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears), Billy Falcon (Bon Jovi, Faith Hill), Kendrick Dean (Chris Brown, Usher, Monica) and the list goes on. In the past 2 years, Cox has landed songs with FOX, ABC, MGM, MTV, VH1, CMT and others. Many of his songs have also received airplay on top 40 stations around the world.
In November of 2010, Norwood released his first hit single After the Rain which was written by legendary Los Angeles producer Steve Dorff. Industry observers have dubbed multiple award winning Dorff an enigma who has evolved into a gifted composer in every musical field. His many songs have been sung by some of the greatest artists of our time—Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, George Strait, Vanessa Williams and countless others.
Music has been the focal point in the life of Norwood, for as long as he can remember and now, at the age of twenty-one, this multi-talented singer, songwriter, musician, dancer and actor, is fulfilling his dreams and ambitions.
