Acts from the following age groups: 6-11, 12-16 & 17+ will perform before a panel of 3 qualified judges from the Entertainment Industry. A winner from each age group will be declared the "Judges Choice". The judging criteria will be based on: Performance, Stage Presence and Appearance. All comments, critiques and suggestions will be written on the scoresheet in a positive manner. This information will be given to each contestant to use a learning tool to enhance your craft. No verbal critiques will be given during the show!
One additional winner will be selected by the audience based on $1 per vote and declared the "People's Choice".
These 4 winners will perform at the high profile, Annual 11Alive Can-A-Thon being televised at Discover Mills on December 5th! These winners will also move on to compete for the title of "Georgia's Most Talented" in Spring of 2009 which will include a fabulous prize package consisting of studio time, professional headshot, image analysis and MUCH MORE!
COMPETITION ENTRY FEE
- Walton's Most Talented entry fee is ONLY $25 for the first performer and $10 for each additional performer (maximum of 3 performers). This fee MUST accompany your entry form. JEM Entertainment only accepts and processes entries for which fees have been paid in full. We accept credit cards, PayPal or check via mail. "Cash ONLY" entries will be accepted at the door for an entry fee of $40 and $15 for each additional performer if any performance slots are still available.
NOTE: We are ONLY accepting 35 Acts so register today! .
- Any check returned by the bank, for any reason, will incur a service charge of $25.00; payment of restitution will be accepted by means of certified check or money order.
- Checks must be made payable and received by JEM Entertainment 5 days after entry is made online.
- Once registered, NO refunds will be made. NO Exceptions!.
JUDGING:
- Walton's Most Talented will be judged by a panel of 3 highly reputable professionals from the Entertainment Industry.

Judging criteria will be based on a scale of 1-10 in the following areas: Performance, Stage Presence and Appearance
- Each contestant will receive their score sheet at the end of the competition.
- As an added bonus, Managers and Agencies will be in attendance to scout talent. You don't have to win, to be discovered!
- JEM Entertainment will not sell or share your info with these other sources. If you are scouted, JEM Entertainment will contact you directly.
RULES & REGS
- Original Material or Cover Tunes are acceptable
- If performing to a track, you must bring the accompaniment on a CD, clearly marked with your name(s) and contestant number.
- A sound system with capability to play a CD and microphone will be provided! Everything else needs to be provided by the contestant!
- Each Act has a maximum of 4 minutes to make the stage your own!
- Music and performance must be G-Rated!
- Dangerous props are not allowed: pyrotechnics, fire, water, glass, swords or knives.
- Sorry, animal acts are not allowed.
- Props must be free standing and moved by competitor or persons designated by JEM Entertainment.
- Each contestant must sign a performance waiver.
NOTE: If you are under 18 you MUST have an adult accompany you.
- Walton's Most Talented is a talent search for any type of solo and/or acts of up to 3 performers! Performances cannot be any longer than 4 minutes! After 4 min, your performance will be stopped! No Exceptions!
- JEM Entertainment has EVERY right to refuse your act, for any reason, at any time.
PLEASE BE AWARE!: JEM Entertainment has ALL rights to pull your act if it contains any inappropriate or crude behavior. Your registration will become Void and you will be disqualified from the competition with No Refund! No Exceptions!
