Jordan was born to sing. He has been raised around the music world. At age 7, he was the guest of country music superstar Mark Wills at the Clemson University stop of the George Strait Music Festival. There he had a chance to be introduced to many country stars such as Kenny Chesney and The Dixie Chicks. After excelling at several school talent shows, Jordan was chosen to be the male youth performer in the 2005 Kenny Rogers' Christmas Special at the Gwinnett Arena. After that he was officially bitten by the bug. In addition to popular performances, Jordan has also enjoyed performing in his middle school chorus and at the Award Winning Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, Georgia (“Camelot” & “The Music Man”). He also had the opportunity to be influenced by two of Nashville’s top songwriters, Tony Martin (Just to See You Smile by Tim McGraw) and Monty Criswell (I Saw God Today by George Strait). Jordan has become one of the most requested youth performers in the Atlanta area. Jordan Humphrey was a big winner at the 2008 CMA Nashville Rising Star Competition this past weekend. There were 150 contestants from all around the US ranging from ages 12-18. There were 5 awards handed out for the Outstanding vocal technique category and Jordan was 1 of the 5 winners. Jordan also was awarded 2nd place nationally in the 14 years old Vocal Soloist category.
